What would a Dickensian novel be like if it were written today? All these things, and more, can be discussed by groups of people who like reading and who want to talk about what they are reading. If you would like advice on how to run a reading group please contact your local library. Titles in the collection cover topics ranging from autism and dementia to carers’ rights and the law and benefits and the emotional aspects of being a full-time carer. There are also books containing advice on caring for children or adults with specific conditions, and looking after yourself as a carer, plus some of the books have been written by carers themselves who share their own experiences. Ein Stori Ni-Golwg Newydd ar Hanes y Cymry gan Emrys Roberts

The Leader: Ein Stori Ni-Golwg Newydd ar Hanes y Cymry by Emrys RobertsEin Stori Ni-Golwg Newydd ar Hanes y Cymry by Emrys Roberts

Cyfrol byr, tenau yw hwn sydd yn ceisio cyflawn’r amhosibl – cwmpasu 2000 o flynyddoedd o hanes mewn llai na chant o dudalennau – fel râs (neu efallai rhuthr) drwy hanes Cymru. Â ydyw’n llwyddo? Ydy i raddau. Er o anghenraid mae’r arddull ychydig yn arwynebol, mae’n cynnwys yr uchafbwyntiau o oes y Celtiaid hyd at heddiw, hefo rhyw baragraff neu ddau ar bob testun. Bydd y cynnwys yn gyfarwydd i lawer o Gymru Gymraeg ac mewn cyfrol o’r math yma mae’n amhosib ymhelaethu. Serch hynny fel cyflwyniad i rai o uchafbwyntiau ein hanes mae’n gweithio yn eitha’ da ond efallai ei brif werth yw ysgogi’r darllenwr i ddarllen ymhellach ac yn ehangach am hanes Cymru. Diddorol hefyd oedd gweld mai ail-argraffiad eitha’ buan yw’r gyfrol hon sydd ynddo’i hun yn argymhelliad i’w ddarllen
