IT is the collaboration we didn’t know we all wanted – until now!

Social media erupted with fans of the Hollywood actor loving the idea of a team-up between Wrexham AFC and Philadelphia.

In the wake of the Reds thrashing King’s Lynn Town, the superstar owners took to social media to share their joy.

Rob McElhenney, best known for his role in ‘Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ seemed to feel a little left that co-owner elect Ryan Reynolds has capitalised on the Wrexham AFC hype with special bottles of his Aviation Gin.

Looking to fill a gap in the market, McElhenney posted a picture of a potential collaboration with the nation’s biggest cream cheese production – Philadelphia.

McElhenney tweeted: “Thinking @vancityreynolds shouldn’t be the only one with a limited-edition product. ‘It’s Always Creamy in Wrexham?’ *We’ll work on the tag line.”

The post was accompanied by a picture of the Philadelphia cream cheese spread pot – but having had a Wrexham AFC rebrand.

Amongst the sea of fans loving the gag, the cheese brand actually responded!

A spokesman for Philadelphia commented: “So do we!! Does @Wrexham_AFC have an official cream cheese yet?”

The Hollywood star proposed that the brand should ‘slide into his DMs’.

Fellow co-owner Ryan Reynolds was taken aback, asking “WTF, this is actually happening?”
