A WREXHAM family who are restoring a WW2 warship on the River Dee need your help.
The ambitious restoration project started by the Robins family earlier this year is in the running to win a £6,000 DIY voucher prize in a competition run by WD40.
Gemma and Simon Robins' "Ship Happens" project is currently second in the Fix-it Challenge competition.
And with voting closing on Friday they are hoping that people will give them the extra votes they need to win the prize.
On the competition's website, the couple said: "We are currently trying to restore a WW2 boat (HDML 1392).
"We are restoring this boat as a family project, trying to save her from the scrap yard in a massive effort to save a historic boat that was involved in D-Day landings.
"Our budget is none existent and winning this would help us so much!"
Gemma and Simon travel from their home near Gwersyllt to the Dee Estuary twice a week to work on the 72-foot-long naval harbour defence launch .
It has become a real family project, especially for nine-year-old daughter Emilia who "loves to get her hands dirty".
