RESIDENTS in Flintshire are being urged to be vigilant following reports of a man knocking on doors and asking for money.
The advice came from Sgt Emma Prevete of the Flintshire South police team on Thursday.
She said: "We have had reports of a man knocking on doors and then asking people for money in Saltney Ferry and Bretton.
"I'd urge residents not to give money out.
"If anyone does experience someone knocking on their door asking for money call the police and let us know straight away."
Sgt Prevete said the force is also keen to hear from anyone who has experienced this and has CCTV footage.
Those who have information can call 101 with reference 21000195620.
