A FLINTSHIRE woman will be brought before the courts after being found triple the drink-drive limit in Hawarden.
The woman, aged 46 and from the Ewloe area, was arrested on Sunday night, April 11 on Wood Lane in Hawarden.
Police were called to the scene after it was reported that a car had crashed into some parked vehicles.
Posting on their social media page, a spokesperson from the Roads Policing Unit of North Wales Police said that officers could ‘immediately’ smell alcohol on her breath.
She was arrested after failing a roadside test.
Police confirmed that, in custody, she failed a second test with a reading given as 102mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath – the legal limit being 35.
The numbers indicate she was three times over the legal limit.
Officers confirmed the drink driving charge and added she will appear before North East Wales Magistrates Court in Mold on May 4.
She failed the breath test and was arrested. Later charged (she blew 102 in custody - legal limit is 35).
