A BLAZE in a Flintshire home was caused by a candle, fire chiefs have confirmed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 4.45pm on Thursday reporting the incident at a property in Trem-Y-Foel, Rhes-Y-Cae.
Two crews attended the scene - one from Flint and one from Deeside - but the fire was out on arrival.
A spokesman said the damage was confined to curtains in the property and the incident had been accidentally caused by a candle.
Firefighters carried out an inspection at the home.
