YOUNG children at a youth football club have come together, despite the Covid-19 challenges.
As part of the ongoing lockdown restrictions, sporting clubs in Wales are unable to operate.
However, Brymbo Lodge Youth Football Club has given their players something to look forward to every week with 'inspirational' weekly Zoom sessions.
Use of Zoom became immensely popular during lockdown, to allow friends, family and workplaces to stay in contact.
One parent told the Leader that these weekly sessions have been inspirational to the children, who are able to stay connected to the club and receive talks from professionals in the industry.
She added: "It’s hard time for children there without there friends , school , training.
"Because the members of club aren’t playing football due to Covid, we have weekly zoom interviews with different professionals in the industry to keep them inspired, we have Wrexham’s Elliot Durell, Shaun Pearson, Adrian Krol, Robbie Evans, Gareth Owen, Steven Wright and Del Morgan.
"And a recent big interview which got all Brymbo lodge members excited about was best referee over the last decade, respected worldwide having worked for FIFA and UEFA, also the Premier league - Mark Clattenburg."
