A TOTAL of 20 bags of rubbish was collected on a distanced litter pick in Wrexham.
On February 10, members of the Friends of Ruabon group and community volunteers went to different routes in the area to clear up debris behind the Park Gates, along the main road, including ditches full of rubbish, to the Ruabon roundabout.

A Friends of Ruabon spokesperson, said: "Roughly, 20 bags of rubbish were collected, but still more areas need clearing.
"We were all very happy to see the lovely comments left on Facebook when photos were published, on our return."
If anyone would like to borrow pieces of equipment from the Friends of Ruabon store, for collecting rubbish, perhaps on a walk or just locally, contact 07957 628551.
There are also small sizes of gloves and litter pickers for children to join in.
