WREXHAM residents are being reminded that dogs must be kept on leads at all times in public.
Wrexham Council stated that this has been in effect since the onset of Covid-19 and still remains in place.
Cllr David A Bithell, lead member for environment and transport, said: “The vast majority of dog owners act responsibly and their dogs are kept on a lead at all times.
“Unfortunately there are some that are not doing this and we’re offering a polite reminder to please keep them on a lead.
"It’s for everyone’s safety and to prevent any risk of not social distancing if they do not come back to their owners when called.
"Please be responsible for your dog in order to prevent any incidents happening.”
