THE public can now explore Wrexham Museum from the comfort of their own home.
With the help of their brand new interactive virtual tour, individuals can take a look around the galleries, shop, cafe, archives, Imagination Zone and more.
Cllr Hugh Jones, lead member for people – communities, partnerships public protection and community safety, said: "Throughout the pandemic we’ve carried out a huge amount of work to develop the museum’s digital offer.
"This has included a brand new museum website, online holiday activities for families and a hugely popular series of ‘Beginner’s guide to Wrexham’ local history social media posts.
"The new virtual tour allows viewers to explore all the public spaces of one of Wrexham’s most iconic buildings and get more information about what’s on offer.
"As well as making the museum more accessible online, the tour is also an excellent preview for anyone who may be interested in visiting for the first time."
When participating in the virtual tour, look out for the info points located around the building, as users can click on these to reveal more information about what they are looking at.
The museum’s galleries and archives are currently closed in line with Welsh Government guidelines.
The café and shop are still open as usual (Monday-Saturday, between 11am until 4pm).
