ONE person was taken to hospital following an early morning crash in Wrexham.
Motorists were warned of morning delays following a crash near Ruabon.
Traffic logs state that three vehicles are said to be involved in the incident on Wrexham’s A483 this morning, December 1.
Police issued a warning saying that the crash has occurred on the northbound stretch of the road.
A spokesman for the force said: “A483 Northbound at Ruabon prior to junction 1. We are currently dealing with an RTC which is causing a lot of congestion as travelling from Chirk.”
Officers advised that drivers should avoid the area if at all possible.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed to the Leader that one person was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital as a result of the crash.
Traffic was moving smoothly several hours later when the road was cleared at about 10.30am.
