NORTH Wales Police is urging residents to keep the 999 line free for emergencies only.
This comes after an increase in calls from the public wanting further details on the coronavirus restrictions.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "We're urging members of the public to use our services wisely and to keep the 999 line free for police emergencies only.
"We cannot answer specific Covid19 related questions."
Officers confirmed they are receiving a high number of calls to the control room and urge people to reduce the demand.
