HEAVY traffic remains on a Wrexham road following an earlier crash.

The A5152 Bradley Road Northbound had been closed due to the accident from Speedy Depot to Watery Road.

Traffic reports show there is congestion to Ruthin Road past the Aldi and on Ruabon Road.

The accident happened just before 8.40am and one of the vehicles has ended up on its roof.

North Wales Police confirmed they were called to a collision between a Vauxhall Viva and a Vauxhall Astra, the Viva ended up on its roof.

Recovery has been requested and is waiting for arrival.

Emergency services were also seen at the scene.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision in the Watery Road area of Wrexham this morning, Monday 12 October at 8.32am. We responded with two emergency ambulances and liaised with colleagues in the fire service. We were stood down from scene as no persons required medical treatment or conveyance."

All lanes reopened shortly before 9.40am but delays remain.
