RESIDENTS are being urged to look out for their neighbours following reports of cold callers and fraudsters.

The Community Safety East team at North Wales Police warned that cold callers are again targeting vulnerable people in communities.

A spokesman said: "Please look out for your neighbours and report suspicious vehicles and persons

"Please take down vehicle registrations your call could help us have one less victim.

"Please help keep our communities safe."

The team warns that fraudsters are also 'at it again' and are warning people to not click on any links from emails of text messages.

Residents are being urged to not get into a conversation as they will 'try different tactics to gain your trust' and never give bank details to anyone you do not know.

Work vans are also being targeted by opportunist thieves.

The team spokesman added: "Park Smart, store tools securely, property mark tools, enhance your locks, secure your catalytic converter and keep records of your tools."
