A NEW community garden patch has been created in Wrexham.
Community group, Incredible Edible Wrecsam, have announced the latest addition to be added to their growing 'portfolio' in the area, which now includes Rhosddu Park.
A spokesperson for Incredible Edible Wrecsam, said: "Thanks to councillor Marc Jones, who represents part of the Rhosddu area, there is now a new community garden patch in Wrexham, which is thriving."
The community group applied for its new patch under the Keep Wales Tidy 'Local Places for Nature' scheme, with the patch now containing a selection of fruit bushes and herbs including gooseberry, bilberry, sage, parsley, chives and thyme.
The patch was put in place last month by a team member of the Keep Wales Tidy team, Shane Hughes.
Anyone is welcome to go along and pick the free fruit and herbs.
If you would like to get involved, there are regular meet ups at their various sites around Wrexham.
