RESTRICTIONS are in place to safely remember the upcoming anniversary of the Gresford Colliery Disaster.
The Gresford Colliery Disaster occurred on September 22 in 1934 when an explosion and underground fire killed 266 men in Wrexham.
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 86th anniversary service will be restricted to children and grandchildren of the disaster victims only.
Others who wish to pay their respects are asked to please visit after 12 noon.
Please email friendsgcdm@gmail.com to ensure socially distanced seating is made available.
