TWO PEOPLE have been hospitalised following a two-vehicle collision on the A55.
The incident occurred eastbound on Rhuallt Hill shortly before 2.45pm on Tuesday and saw two vans collide, North Wales Police said.
The Welsh Ambulance Service has confirmed two people have been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd for treatment following the incident.
A spokesperson said: "We were called today, Tuesday September 1 at 2.26pm to reports of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision eastbound on the A55 around J29, Rhuallt.
“We responded with an advanced paramedic practitioner and two emergency ambulances."
Congestion in the area continued until about 5pm, Traffic Wales said.
