MOTORISTS in Wales are being reminded of the dangers of keeping their dogs in hot cars.
Earlier today (August 11), Traffic Wales took to social media to urge dogs owners that under no circumstance, should they leave their pet alone in their vehicle on a warm day, despite taking reasonable steps to ensure they are kept cool.
They posted: "Never leave your dog alone in a car on a warm day, not even with the windows left open and the car parked in the shade.
"The RSPCA says that if it’s 22 degrees outside, the inside of a car can reach unbearable temperatures of 47 degrees within one hour."
