SCHOOL staff have bid an emotional farewell to their current school leavers as they get set to begin the next journey of their lives.
Schooling has been a little different this year, which has taken its toll on families across Wales, but for Year 6 children in particular, they have been unable to say a proper goodbye to their friends, teachers and school.
Staff at Ysgol Ty Ffynnon put together an emotional video to wish the children luck on their new adventures.
A spokesman for the school said: "The video has been put together by the staff of Ysgol Ty Ffynnon - saying goodbye to our Year 6 leavers.
"We wish them all the best as they move up to their new High Schools. They have coped brilliantly to all of the challenges that they have faced this year."
The heartwarming video showed images of the children who have spent the last six-years making memories with one another.
Staff were unable to see all pupils, known as the 'Quarantined class of 2020', personally, so each wrote them a good luck message via the video.
