A MAN'S body has been discovered at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, police have confirmed.
At 10am, over a dozen police cars, a police helicopter and ambulances responded to what police described as a "concern for safety incident".
Shortly after 2.30pm, police confirmed that the body of a man has been discovered.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and his family have been informed.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to the Pontcysyllte area of Llangollen this morning at approximately 10.16am to support colleagues in the police.
“We sent one rapid response car and one emergency ambulance to the scene where we were later stood down."
