Happy Father's Day: Celebrating the fantastic dads, grandads and father figures of Flintshire and Wrexham

Not only does he smash his daytime job and being the best dad and grandad in the world, he also spends a large part of his time off volunteering on our local football pitch keeping that tidy and in tip-top condition." • Harri Joshua and Kodi Jac Lloyd, from Wrexham, said about their dad, Joshua Lloyd: "Our Daddy is the best in the whole world! He’s very hardworking, he makes sure us boys get everything we need and want, we are very spoilt but totally worth it of course! Josh first became a daddy to Harri in November 2018, they had 16 amazing months together, sharing smiles, giggles and love every day, which only got better in April this year when Harri became a big brother and Josh a daddy once again to his second little boy, Kodi.

"Kodi was born in the middle of the global pandemic and national lockdown, we miss our wider family a lot and not seeing friends is very hard, but our daddy continues to be our rock, he helps mummy daily, he plays with us often and he loves us always. We are his little dream team and daddy is our hero."

• Natasha Messaoud, from Brymbo, had this to say about her dad Bert Owen: "My dad has overcome heart surgery amongst many other things but he has never let it stop him. He's in his 80s and goes to the gym 6.30am three times a week without fail. He loves his Waterworld family. He is my hero and I'm so proud to call him my dad and much loved granddad. • Rebecca Roberts, from Wrexham, had this to say about Jason Acton: "Jason is my step-dad and has been in my life since I was three. Throughout my teenage years I gave him a hard time, the usual 'you're not my dad type' but he's always been there, he's always put food on the table, clothes on our backs, brilliant road trips and amazing holidays. As I've got older we have grown closer and still now I can rely on him for anything, he is truly our hero and I never tell him how much I truly love him and how much he means to us!
