THREE people have been sent back home as transport police continue to monitor trains.
British Transport Police officers have taken to social media to stress that non-essential journeys will not be tolerated on train lines.
An image of Shotton train station was shared on Tuesday morning and officers said that three people were sent back home after they were travelling for non-essential reasons.
A spokesman said on Twitter: "Three people already sent back on return journeys due to non essential travel. STAY HOME! We are here to keep you safe....keep us safe."
