A FLINTSHIRE community is collecting books and puzzles to hand out to elderly and vulnerable people in self-isolation.
Penyffordd Community Council has initiated the scheme which has seen hundreds of crossword and puzzle books, novels, DVDs and jigsaws distributed to help keep people occupied.
The Red Lion pub has offered to be the collection point for the donations, which are then distributed to elderly and vulnerable people in self-isolation by its team of volunteers.
The pub also continues to provide free hot meals for NHS staff - with hundreds of meals donated over the last six weeks.
Cllr Alan Wright, chair of Penyffordd Community Council, said: "There is a real community spirit here and people are looking out for each other in so many ways.
"I'm so proud to be a part of this community."
