A WREXHAM resident has created 10 blankets for a special baby unit.
Linda Williams, a former nursing auxiliary at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, decided to use her time in lockdown to 'give a little something back' to frontline NHS workers and its young patients during the virus pandemic.
She explained: "I know in normal circumstances things get tough and how hard I had to work from experience.
"I cannot even begin to imagine in times like these how hard and stressful it must be for each and every one of the NHS staff.
"But the NHS have been amazing and I'm very proud of them all - especially in these very difficult times."
Ms Williams, who currently works as a security officer but has been furloughed for three weeks, hopes that more people see key workers as a vital attribute to our country for all of their hard work during these uncertain times.
She added: "I'm very proud of our NHS - they are angels in disguise.
"Keep safe, keep smiling."
