A SHOTTON family has taken the rainbow symbol to a whole new level by colouring their house in bright colours for NHS heroes.
Catherine Southern along with her partner Terry Ellard and children Nicholas (11), Harry (9) and George (7), decided to transform their house in a bid to spread some joy during the coronavirus pandemic.
In six hours, plus seven giant packs of jumbo chalk, the family had coloured in the bricks of their home different colours.
Catherine said: "We used jumbo chalk from Asda and did it to brighten the street and bring a smile to all the people passing by.
"We wanted to spread some joy in this horrible situation we're in at the moment but most of all to show our support for the NHS."
Each brick is a different colour and can be seen at Westminster Crescent in Shotton.
