RESIDENTS are being urged to not park their car on the road or risk not having their bins emptied.

Wrexham Council is reminding residents that if they have to park their car on the road, to ensure there is enough space left for bin wagons.

This was after complaints bins had not been emptied due to no space for bin wagons to get past.

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: “We collect from 64,000 households each week but there are occasions when our vehicles can’t get to where they need to be, which leads to missed collections and leaves some people disappointed.

"Your co-operation in these difficult times is really appreciated to ensure services are maintained."
