The incident occurred at about 7.50pm on Thursday (April 23) on Mold Road in Ewloe Green, North Wales Police said.

It saw a woman out on a walk with her mother and brother approached by a group of children who subsequently coughed in her face, before running off laughing.

The woman involved in the incident, named Laura Hudson, recounted the disturbing incident.

She said: "A group of three kids crossed the road directly toward us and we couldn’t have moved because of traffic and the houses to our left have brick walls in front.

"As they were passing two kept walking closer and then coughed in my face and all three found it hilarious."

Miss Hudson said she has been left "disgusted" and "fuming" by the incident.
