RAIN and lower temperatures are expected across the country this week following days of uninterrupted sunshine and warm weather.

The gorgeous weather we saw across Flintshire and Wrexham, with highs of 21C, prompted concerns that the public could defy lockdown restrictions.

However, this week is set to return to usual across Wales as it is expected to be cloudy with outbreaks of rain.
The Met Office reports we could see temperature drop to 9C this week with plenty of showers.
