A WREXHAM woman has gone the extra mile to raise hundreds for the NHS as a thank you for all they are doing during the coronavirus pandemic.
Donna Owens braved the shave as she lost her locks over the weekend in a bid to raise an initial £250 for the cause to help those on the frontline fight against coronavirus.
However, her fundraiser has so far brought in a staggering £1,500 and will remain open until May 8.
She told the Leader: "It went really well, it was good.
"We went live on Facebook and had 4,000 views it was mad.
"I've got a cold head but it feels quite nice actually. We've had loads of support from everyone, it's fantastic.
"People keep saying well done when they see me. I was not expecting this response."
