A "VULNERABLE" Flintshire man was targeted by a cold caller.
Police said the incident occurred in Carmel, near Holywell on Monday night and saw a man charge an 85-year-old £140 to cut his hedge.
And Police are now urging people to look out for vulnerable neighbours.
North Wales Police's Community Safety Eastern Team said: "Last night (Monday) we had a report of a male cold calling in Carmel, targetting a vulnerable 85-year-old male living alone.
"Cut his hedges and charged £140. Please look out for vulnerable neighbours and report any suspicious activity."
