THE number of UK coronavirus deaths has risen by 439.
The Department of Health and Social Care released the latest UK-wide figures on April 6.
As of 5pm on April 5, 5373 people who had tested positive for Covid-19 had died in UK hospitals - this saw a rise of 439 from the previous day.
As of 9am today, a total of 208,837 people had been tested for the virus, of which 51,608 had tested positive.
