A DENTAL care service in Wrexham has partially closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Ruabon Road Dental Practice, which has been established since 1979, took to social media on March 23 to inform the public that it will cease all non-emergency type of services due to the virus pandemic.

They posted: "In line with public guidance to reduce social interaction the practice is now closed except for dental emergencies.

"This way we can protect our staff and our public during this critical time and, if required, redeploy our clinicians to other areas of the NHS to assist the fight against the virus.

"We will only be open for patients of the practice with a dental emergency who have not been suspected of or confirmed as having coronavirus.

"To access an emergency appointment contact the practice between 9am and 12pm, Monday to Friday, by phone on 01978 364390 or by email on info@wrexhamdentist.co.uk where your problem will be triaged by our experienced team and an appointment will be arranged should they feel it is essential.

"We will post a patient information sheet that should answer any questions that may arise regarding the practice closure shortly.

"Thank you, as always for your support as we continue to put our patients and our community first."
