Wrexham AFC's league match against Barrow has been postponed after one of the Reds' first-team players has self-isolated amid coronavirus fears.
The pandemic has decimated the sporting schedule both at home and abroad, with football bearing the brunt, after the Premier League and English Football League seasons were halted until April 3 at the earliest.
However, the National League decided on Friday to allow matches in its three divisions to proceed as planned this weekend - including Wrexham's match at league leaders Barrow.
But that match is now off.
A statement on Wrexham’s website read: “After seeking medical advice, a member of the Wrexham AFC first-team squad has been advised to self-isolate and we have a duty of care for the well-being of our staff, volunteers and others.
“The football club is continuing to monitor the situation closely.”
