TWO men from Wrexham took it upon themselves to rescue a 'vulnerable' cat which had been stranded for days.
Matt Fleet and friend, Gavin Roberts, decided to come to the cat's aid on March 8, after realising that it had been left up on the roof of Plas Offa Farm, which is just off the A5 between Whitehurst and Froncysyllte, since Thursday, March 5.

Mr Fleet, said: "The RSPCA and the fire service were made aware since March 5 but nobody came out.
"That's when me and Gavin decided to help out our buddy instead.

"I'm just glad I could do something to help a helpless cat in need.
"Also a thank you to Gavin for coming to help with the ladder."
