THE water supply in and around Buckley is back up and running after Welsh Water fixed a burst pipe in the town.
Much of Buckley and its surrounding areas were plunged into a water shortage at around 7.30 this morning (Tuesday) due to a burst water main in the system.
But Welsh Water were able to fix the issue shortly after 11.30am, half an hour ahead of their originally estimated time.
The utility company have warned people in the area that they may notice low water pressure or discolouration of their tap water when the supply has been restored.
But they say that this is normal, and the water should clear after running the cold tap.
The town centre was in the heart of the affected area, with homes and businesses around Buckley Mountain, Nant Mawr, and Prenbrigog also suffering from little to no water pressure.
Parts of Lane End, Mynydd Isa, Drury and Alltami were also affected.
