FIRE CREWS were called to tackle a house fire during the early hours of Saturday morning.
A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirm they were called to a house fire on Nelson Street in Shotton at 12.17am.
The fire was caused by grill pans and was concluded as accidental and cooking related.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and a C02 extinguisher to tackle the blaze.
The spokesman confirmed there were no injuries and there was 100 per cent fire damage to the cooker and 50 per cent smoke damage to the kitchen.
