WALES Comic Con has been hailed as bigger and better than ever...in it's new home of Telford.
With more guests, attendees and traders than ever before in the event's ten year history, the move to England was in the main welcomed by con-goers.
One trader said: "It had outgrown Wrexham. We have done better here than in the past. It's been busier even than we expected, we wish we'd brought more people to work on our table."
Oscar Warner-Hunter, of Shotton, meets some festive cosplayers
On Facebook, Katherine Battelle said: "We had a fab time! It was run really well, staff was very polite and helpful, brilliant line up of guests and a good selection of stalls. Really looking forward to the next one."
Cosplayers come in all shapes and sizes - even 7ft2ins!
Amanda Claire said: "Absolutely brilliant day. Thank you so much to all the staff and guests who were amazing. My nephew and I loved it!"
Reece Langmeed said: "This years con was run perfectly! It was stress free unlike other cons and the climate was extremely cool! The guests were some of the best guests I have ever seen and were all super friendly. The best comic con I have ever attended."
Comic writer and editor Dr Mark Adams with Inca and Zeus
Lauren Chilton said: "Brilliant day, excellent guests, venue and panels. More food vendors would have been good but the management of the events was good and there was plenty of space to move round and browse freely."

Ruth Elizabeth said: "WCC this year was so much better than last year. The new venue was great. We didn't feel like sardines. Queues weren't too long so you had time to see everything. I had an access pass which helped so much. Only thing I would suggest is more chairs at the photo ops for access people."
Gallifrey TimeTravellers cosplayers from Luxembourg
Many people travelled from North Wales to Telford, but there were also lots of fans and cosplayers from further afield. Heng Wagner and Monique Nikki Giling, who were cosplaying as the Fourth Doctor and companion Leela, had travelled from Luxembourg for their first UK convention.
Cosplayer Katheryn Michelle Bates got to meet the real Donna Noble - actress Catherine Tate
Guests included Zachary Levi (Shazam!), Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), Aidan Turner (Poldark) and Doctor Who stars David Tennant, Matt Smith, Alex Kingston, Arthur Darvill and Catherine Tate.
Actor Tom Mison with horror authors CL Raven
Sleepy Hollow and Watchmen star Tom Mison donated money taken for his autographs to the Crisis homeless charity.
This was the first time Wales Comic Con had not been held at Wrexham's Glyndwr University. In recent years, temporary marquees were added to the venue as the event expanded but in May it was announced it would be moving to the Telford International Centre and marketed as "Telford Takeover".
Cosplayers as Raven, Bob and Linda Belcher, and Wonder Woman and Powergirl
Although there has been no official announcement, Buffy star James Marsters has announced on social media that he will be a guest at Wales Comic Con on April 25 and 26, 2020, again in Telford.
