ONE of the area’s biggest bonfire displays has celebrated another successful year.
The annual Bryn-y-Grog Bonfire and Fireworks event was held on Sunday November 3 at the Penyllan Farm, Marchwiel, in Wrexham.
Gates opened to eager spectators at 4pm and there was a wide range of family themed fun to be had once there, which included fairground rides, a selection of hot food and drinks available and not forgetting the amazing big bonfire and fireworks display.
Despite the huge bonfire not being lit until 7pm, fun was still to be had by visitors who did not let the cold weather get in their way.
The event has proven popular amongst those within the Wrexham and surrounding areas, as they currently have over 3,000 individuals who have liked their Bryn-y-Grog Bonfire and Fireworks Facebook page.
Entry to the event cost just £5 per person and there was no charge for children under the age of five.
