TRAFFIC appears to be building around the Caergwrle area due to roadworks.
Temporary traffic lights have been put in place on Castle Street which is causing some disruption.
Flintshire Council’s Chief Officer for Streetscene and Transportation, Steve Jones, said: “Streetscene was made aware of the need for an urgent mains repair on the A541, Caergwrle on 24 September 2019, due to a water leak. This required a set of temporary traffic lights to be put in place.
“It became apparent that these lights were stuck on red early this morning, and the Council deployed operatives to marshal traffic, until the works promoter, Hafren Dyfrdwy, attended site.
“Works are expected to be completed today.”
