AN INFORMATION event for family members and carers of autistic people is to take place in Flintshire.
The event, which is free of charge, will take place on Friday September 13 at Theatr Clwyd in Mold.
It is being organised by Flintshire Council's Integrated Autism Service and is an opportunity for carers and parents of people with autism to seek employment, education and voluntary opportunities.
It will run from 11am to 2pm and there will be over 30 information stands, including representatives from carer support charity NEWCIS, Department for Work and Pensions, Coleg Cambria and Clwyd Alyn housing.
Family members and carers will be able to learn more about the support networks charities such as NEWCIS provide, educational opportunities through Coleg Cambria and employment through Clwyd Alyn.
