AREAS of Flintshire are currently experiencing power outages.

Scottish Power has confirmed areas of Mold and Buckley are currently without power.

Nearly 450 properties are without power, and the cause is a fault in an overhead line.

A spokesperson from Scottish Power has said: "We believe the power cuts began around 5:55am, with the cause being a fault in one of our overhead power lines.

"There is currently 434 properties experiencing power outages in the Mold and Buckley areas, and we have a large team of engineers on site working hard to correct the issue as soon as possible.

"We predict that power will be fully restored around lunchtime or shortly afterwards."

SP Energy Networks tweeted: “We are aware of a #POWERCUT in #CH7 #Mold #Buckley caused by an overhead line fault. Our engineers are now on-site."
