YSGOL Rhiwabon staff and students were delighted to welcome the Local Freemason Lodge of Valle Crucis to school in July.
The Valle Crucis Lodge has donated generously to the school’s minibus appeal which is boosted by such support.
Headteacher, Mrs Ferron-Evans said,
“We are so grateful for the support shown by the Freemasons of the Valle Crucis Lodge No. 8951 to the local community and a minibus provides Ysgol Rhiwabon with the transport needed for all our young people as they access courses and sporting activities away from school.
In the past the minibus has been used to support events in Ruabon and the local area, including working with our local nursing homes and to transport members of the community for various school celebrations’’.
The Valle Crucis Lodge No. 8951 is supporting the role the secondary school has in the Ruabon and wider local community.
