FIREFIGHTERS were called out to battle a back-garden blaze that had spread to nearby shrubs on Thursday morning (August 8th).
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the incident on Fulbrooke in Greenfield, Holywell, shortly before 9.30am when a ‘controlled’ fire in the back garden of a property caught on to nearby greenery.
One appliance from Flint attended the scene where they used one hose reel to extinguish a fire which had spread to 10 square metres of hedging.
The fire service announced an official stop time of 9.53am, with no damage being caused and no injuries sustained.
