AN inquest has been opened into the death of a man who was found at the River Dee.
Craig Rowe, 28, was found in the River Dee between Ruabon and Halton on July 20.
In the opening held in Ruthin, John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales (East and Central) said Mr Rowe, of Hurdsman Street, Oswestry, was seen by a passerby.
Mr Gittins said the Ambulance Service contacted North Wales Police following reports to the control room in which there had been reports of a male witnessed jumping from the bridge along the A483.
The witness saw him walking along the A483 before seeing him on the wrong side of the barrier before falling.
His body was found in the river below.
The inquest has been adjourned and will resume later in the year.
