The A494 eastbound has reopened after temporarily closing as a woman had to be be cut free from a car following a collision.
Traffic Wales said the collision occurred eastbound between Ewloe and Queensferry at 7.15pm.
Traffic Wales said shortly after 9.30 that the road eastbound has reopened after it was closed for over an hour as authorities worked to recover the vehicle.
North Wales Fire and Rescue confirmed it sent two fire engines to the scene, with crews working to cut free a woman from a car.
The a spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue said the woman has been taken to hospital.
The ambulance service said it was unable to comment at this time.
