POLICE officers have launched an appeal following recent thefts from vehicles in the Mold area.
A car was broken into overnight between 10pm July 16 and 5.50am July 17 from Dreflan.
Offenders searched the car thoroughly, leaving the glove box open and taking the dash cam and radio.
Similarly, on Elm Drive between 8pm and 6.30am on the same night, a Ford transit van was accessed.
Inspector Steve Owens, of the South Flintshire policing team, said it is not known whether the vehicle was left insecure but there were no obvious signs of forced entry.
Work tools, including a chainsaw, had been taken.
Inspector Owens added: “Mold residents are encouraged to report any suspicious behaviour or persons.”
Anyone with information or concerns can contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting ref X100640.
