RESIDENTS of Connah's Quay have been invited to have fun in the sun at a number of events this summer.
The Our Back Yard project is holding free family events in the town over the summer holidays with events taking place at different green spaces in the area.
Amy Jones, project officer from Groundwork North Wales and the Our Back Yard project said Connah's Quay has many green spaces and the summer programme is an ideal opportunity to try something new with the whole family.
Amy added: "Our events during the half term and Easter holidays were well attended and we really enjoyed meeting people from the local community.
"We hope to see even more people for the summer events where we will be offering exciting new programme of activities for all the family to enjoy."
The Our Back Yard team provides any equipment required and ask that people wear suitable clothing and footwear. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
