POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a motorbike crash near Johnstown.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said:"We are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A483 northbound J2 (Johnstown) at 1655hrs today involving a motorcycle. The road remains closed at this time. If you have any information please call on 101 ref X096824."
The condition of the motorcyclist is not known at this point.

Affected sections of the A483 have all now reopened following a ‘serious’ police incident that happened in Wrexham during rush hour.
The A-road was temporarily closed in both directions between J1 Northbound– J3 Southbound to allow access for the emergency services to assist with a crash involving a motorcycle at around 4.55pm.
Traffic Wales posted on social media at around 7.10pm that the southbound road (Rhostyllen to Ruabon) has reopened but the northbound route (ccc) remains closed
Emergency services remained on the scene to complete accident investigation work on the northbound side of the road until almost 9.10pm when the road was fully reopened, according to social media updates from Traffic Wales.
