A FLINTSHIRE community is gearing up for its annual summer fair which promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Leeswood Carnival takes place this Saturday and will include a parade, funfair and live music show.
The main event takes place at Phoenix Park, preceded by a parade at 12.30pm that will see the traditional crowning of Queen, Rosebud and Prince of the carnival - presented by James McCorkindale, star of Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Following the parade, the funfair at 1.30pm will see traditional fairground attractions, including coconut stalls, a raffle, face painting, Morris dancing, a puppet show and much more.
The fair will end at 4.30pm, when attention will turn to the live music and entertainment. This will include DJ, solo and band performances from an array of talented local artists.
Entry wristbands are priced at £2 for adults and teenagers, and free of charge for primary school aged children. They are available from Leeswood Co-Op, Leeswood playgroup and also on the field on the day.
