AN eatery in Wrexham has been named the best Indian Restaurant in North Wales.
The accolade was achieved as part of the 2019 Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards.
The award for Ijazz restaurant on Egerton Street comes just months after the eatery claimed the Asian Curry Award for being the ‘Best Indian Restaurant in Wales’ in November 2018.
After receiving their latest accolade Ijazz manager Emran Hussain said: “All of the staff here are proud and delighted to have won this incredible award, and it really means a lot to us.
“The two awards mean that all of the hard work that we’ve all put in has started to pay off, but we couldn’t have done it without the customers.
"They’re the ones who have made this possible for us.
“It doesn’t stop here, though. We’re going to keep working hard to be the very best we can be, and maybe then we’ll look at opening up another high-quality restaurant.”
Ijazz Indian restaurant has been open since August 2016 and serves a variety of South Asian cuisines including delicacies which originate from India and Bangladesh.
